Scrapers

In Kendall Florida, you'll find Scrapers Ice Cream. It's a small purple and white trailer with a long line that's a dead giveaway at how popular and pleasing this sweet treat must be. When you arrive, they have menus in the shape of the “scraper” they use to make the ice cream with and the selection is massive. Okay, not massive but there's so many good things to choose from. I think I changed my mind three times in line because everything sounded so good. Or maybe that was my indecisiveness kicking in? idk. Worry about yourself, thanks. The presentation alone will convince you to go to the creamery because it’s not your traditional “2 scoops and caramel drizzle on top” type of ice cream shop.

They make. The ice cream. In. Front. Of. You. Big deal? Everyone does that? Okay cool, but not all ice cream shops take regular shmegular milk from nothing to frozen, creamy looking fruit roll ups right before your eyes. Alllll in yo face. Trust me on this, you’ll want to take a video because it’s definitely snapchat worthy. After going there once, of course you won't be as starstruck, but let’s not overthink this, just enjoy the experience.

Okay so more about the ice cream, which is probably why you're here. Its apparent that a lot of thought goes into the presentation and even more effort into making a unique creation for every customer. I’d say this is somewhere you should go because of how good the ice cream looks, initially, but more importantly because you're in the mood for a delicious dessert. The ice cream looks as good as it tastes and we all know that can't be said about everything. This location is great for any casual outing, a quick dessert before you go home for the night, at the end of a date, after work/class, just goooo. You won’t regret this. I highly recommend experiencing Scrapers Ice Cream!

Price Range: $5 at the very least and it can get pricey depending on how many toppings you choose.

Dress code: If you're wearing anything but comfortable shoes you’ll regret it within a few minutes of being in line. But it’ll be worth the wait.
