Wynwood Ice Cream Parlor
So, the ice cream sandwiches here were pretty cool. It’s two baked cookies with ice cream in the middle. Not some “cookie textured” material that you find in the freezer section, but actual cookies that you can pull apart and eat alone without the ice cream if you really wanted to. They come packaged in clear containers which is cool because usually ice cream sandwiches come in some sort of basic plastic wrap. This packaging allows the dessert to maintain its shape!
This business doesn’t have a physical building, but it does have a food truck located in Wynwood and it attends many food truck events in the area, so you have plenty of opportunities to try these delicious sandwiches. They also sell their items in other business, such as Pizza Bar on South Beach, which is where I bought my ice cream sandwich and the Miami Flea which happens in Wynwood once a month.
The ice cream sandwich I had was called “Bedrock” which is two red velvet cookies and vanilla bean ice cream with fruity pebbles on the outside of it. It was da bomb. Soooo delicious and it was a nice size for a dessert. They also have flavors such as a classic chocolate chip sandwich, key lime pie sandwich, chocolate ice cream sandwich, a vegan ice cream sandwich and so many more. This is something you need to experience at least once and I’m willing to have a debate about this with anyone, if necessary.
Price: My ice cream sandwich came out to $6 and it was worth every dollar. This isn't just regular soft serve, it’s two really good cookies and delicious ice cream that take a lot of creativity so shut up and take as much of my money as you need to for the sake of a good time and delicious food! But seriously, it’s worth the money and worth the new experience.
Enjoy!
